Meet the Committee
President - Sarah Cansell
Sarah and a past member Elaine Joyce started this WI group in 2012, she has held all committee posts over those years and was voted in as President Nov 2018. She works from her home as a childminder and is passionate about changing ladies perceptions of the WI being only for the older generation!

Secretary - Tina Ford

Tina is a fairly new WI member and joined in 2017 but straight away she got stuck in as a committee member and has now taken over as secretary. Tina works in a local Children's Nursery and loves to visit Disneyworld in Florida.
Treasurer - Jayne Harrison
Jayne has been a committee member since 2015 and took on the treasurer position at very short notice halfway through 2018. She fairly recently retired and she and her husband Paul spend time on their boat on the Thames and at their caravan on Hayling Island.
Committee Member - Jenny Burgess
Jenny has been on the committee since 2014 and you will find her at the welcome table when you walk into our meeting. She works full time and has 2 sons.
Committee Member - Carole Cross
Carole is a fairly new member of our committee and is enjoying her retirement with her husband Vic.
Committee Member - Dawn James

New member in March 2019, Dawn lives in Godalming with her husband, daughter and 2 cats. She makes curtains and blinds so is extremely crafty.
Committee Member - Sonya Beeston

New member March 2019, Sonya works part-time at Royal Surrey County Hospital, is married with twins aged 18. She loves cats and has 6 of them.

New member in April 2019, Becki is a mum of 4 young children and works in the call centre at Mount Brown.
Committee Member - Bobby Ranger
Bobby is married to Ian and a retired senior nurse. She has a new springer spaniel puppy which is keeping her on her toes.
Committee Member - Caroline Johnson
Caroline is a retired teacher who used to work locally at Moss Lane School.

Joined the committee October 2019, she is a very busy working mum of 4 children and loves having tattoos. She is also a cat lover and has 4
